Details

The Fluid HT 2 features a new progressive aluminum frame design to create the ultimate singletrack adventure hardtail.

The Fluid HT 2's unique combination of long reach, slack head tube angle and steep seat tube angle provides a forward weight distribution with its long wheelbase to achieve its playful, capable performance. This allows more powerful pedaling, increased climbing traction and added grip and control when descending so you can confidently navigate the trail.

With frames designed around 27.5 or 29" wheels depending on frame size, the Fluid HT 2 features a smooth 120mm SR-Suntour XCR34 Air adjustable suspension fork and SRAM 12-speed SX Eagle drivetrain for smooth, confident shifts. Control and confidence are optimized on descents with a Tranz-X 130mm Stealth dropper post and Tektro HD-M275 hydraulic disc brakes.

- 6061 DB alloy Fluid frame, space for up to 2.6" tires
- Updated Trail geo based around 120mm travel forks
- Internal routing for shifter and brake cables
- SRAM SX Eagle drivetrain
- Tektro HD-M275 hydraulic disc brakes
- Schwalbe Smart Sam 2.6" tires
- TranzX YSP18 dropper seatpost

Wider than standard yet narrower than fat, plus-size rims and tires hit the sweet spot in grip, stability, and speed, giving you more confidence on technical terrain. Compared to a standard tire you’ll feel grip in places you wouldn’t expect thanks to a bigger contact patch and greater rollover clearance. More air volume allows lower tire pressures which softens bumps and increases float on sand or snow. Whether you’re a novice or an expert, the benefits of plus-size tires and rims will amplify your mountain biking fun.

A dropper seatpost allows you to quickly lower and raise your seat to give you an ideal riding position. Dropping your seat creates a lower center of gravity for better control and maneuverability on steep descents, while raising it puts you at normal riding height for efficient pedaling.

Construction can include either hydraulic- or cable-actuated systems and the post’s travel can either be infinitely adjustable or stopped at set intervals, depending on the model.

Dropper seatposts come in standard lengths and diameters and vary by the amount of travel.
